Why ravenclaw is better than gryffindor
The whole reason of sorting is to show which side of your personality you want to act on most. If you have qualities of Gryffindor and Slytherin, but you care more about being brave than ambitious, choose Gryffindor.
An evil Ravenclaw is your run-of-the-mill mad scientist. His theory says that the most beloved half-giant, Rubeus Hagrid, was actually an undercover Death Eater working for Voldemort! Credit: Warner Bros. I still find it to be intriguing given the amount of evidence which supports the conclusion that Hagrid is one of the top servants of Voldemort. One fan suggested that, rather than a bumbling, innocent half-giant, Rubeus Hagrid was actually an evil wizard in the employ of Lord Voldemort, serving as a double agent and Death Eater.
It turned out he secretly carried Voldemort on his head like something out of Alien. Actually, it was the Acromantulas who carried him to the forbidden forest.
If the Death Eaters found him incapacitated, they had no reason to kill him. However Hagrid tells Harry that his blood is as pure as they come. Quirrell had a very alarming connection to Voldemort despite not being a Slytherin and Lockheart was a liar and a fraud. He seemed intelligent but was actually just passing off the work of others as his own. There were, however, some great wizards lurking around the rooms of the Ravenclaw common room over the course of Hogwarts' history.
Olivander, the man with the most knowledge of wands in the world, also came from the house. Rowena Ravenclaw was obviously a very impressive witch with the ability to co-found the most impressive school of witchcraft and wizardry of all time.
There is a very small discrepancy between the books and the films regarding this: in the books, Ravenclaw is blue and bronze, but they are blue and silver in the films. Despite this, many fans feel they still win in the war of the colors. Their muted tones are much more pleasant than the jealous green of Slytherin, the arrogant golds of the Gryffindor uniform, and the hideously ugly yellow of Hufflepuff.
It just lacks the impact and importance of things like the locket, which they had been trying to destroy for about a year. We see a lot of the Gryffindor common room.
Dawn French presides over it, demanding a password to get through each time, which forces the members of the house to remember an ever-changing word. Contrary to popular belief, the mascot of Ravenclaw is an eagle, not a raven. The eagle is a symbol of strength and immortality, and it is closely linked to the gods Zeus and Odin. Luna Lovegood, arguably the most lovable character to ever exist, is — of course — a Ravenclaw.
He used both his creativity and his knowledge to be successful in wandlore. Professor Flitwick, Head of Ravenclaw House, was a champion duelist.
There is a long line of talented Ravenclaws in all areas of the wizarding world. We aren't untainted and always pure I must add. Professor Quirrell and Professor Lockhart were both Ravenclaws.
Quirrell was tempted by the enticement of Dark magic. Lockhart let his pride get the best of him. I feel a little weird showing House pride as a Ravenclaw sometimes. They are constantly striving to be better and to learn more. What more can you hope for in the people that you surround yourself with? Ravenclaws are creative and independent. They value logic and can find innovative solutions to problems.
They observe and take in all that they see. Fun fact, the coolest part about Ravenclaw is the entrance to their common room: You have to answer a riddle to get in.
