Fort Pickens in Pensacola Beach was the location for the lighthouse and killer whale scenes. Amity Town Hall in Pensacola was used for a scene in the movie. Some of the boating scenes were shot from Destin where the Aquanaut is docked in Destin Harbor. Destin was also home to a restaurant scene.
